Introduction

 In the following blog you will find information correlated to bilingualism and also the difference between two very peculiar terms (bilingual and bicultural), also everything related to individual characteristics of each word, general meaning, among others. The purpose of this blog is to let the reader know the true meaning of the above mentioned words based not on what people commonly known but on bibliographic material, because thanks to this the reader will be able to obtain totally new information and will be sure of its veracity.

Through the development of this blog we as a group will express the main implications, similarities and advantage of being bicultural and bilingual in the Colombian society, as teachers encharged to the target language education process. According to Grosjean, F. (2013, page 7),  '' Many students pursue their studies in a religion or country with a different language to their own and hence become bilingual''. Unfortunately, this is not applied in Colombian schools, because teachers do not have the capacitation opportunities to improve their class material, making them more dynamic and productive. So that it is very hard to get the goal purposed by the education ministry '' educate bilingual students at schools''.

According to Grosjean, F. (2013, page 12), '' Bilinguals usually acquier and use their languages for different purposes, in different domains of life, with different people. Different aspects of life often require different languages''. Something we really agree with because in Colombia schools there is not a good bilingual project, everything is just on paper. That will be our goal as future graduated teachers, change for better the way a second or third language is being taught, making from this experience, something practical, easy and productive, allowing students or learners use the language accurate and fluently in open contexts.
