Bilingual and Bicultural differences

To talk about the main differences from being a bilingual or being bicultural, we need to make a short description from the characteristics of each one; A bilingual, is a person or community that speaks two languages, According to Grosjean, F. (2013, page 8) “Describing a bilingual in terms of language use and language fluency at two moments in time: age 26 and age 36”. on the other hand, a bicultural person is someone who belongs to, represents, or understands two different cultures, According to Grosjean, F. (2013, page 8) “They adapt, in part at least, their attitudes, behaviors, values, languages, etc. to these cultures”; these are the most relevant aspect in our concern about the analyzed categories from the Colombian education in the document Grosjean, F.
